  • TWU’s College of Nursing was the official sponsor of the national annual conference for the American Association for the History of Nursing (AAHN) Sept. 19-21 in Dallas. AAHN, which promotes the appreciation and scholarship of nursing’s history to inform and shape nursing’s future, selected TWU alumna Barbara Mann Wall, a professor at the University of Virginia, to deliver the conference keynote address. Dean Rosalie Mainous and Associate Dean Shelley Hawkins welcomed attendees, which included a number of TWU alumni, 20 honors students and nine undergraduates who volunteered to support the event.
