  • Asha Vas (occupational therapy) was instrumental in the SMART protocol for cognitive training and rehabilitation following brain injury. The Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence for the Defense Health Agency, has included SMART as a recommended treatment for executive function disorders.
  • Rebecca Borff (nursing) is among only 35 nursing faculty from across the nation selected to participate in the 2019 AACN-Apple Digital Innovation Bootcamp: From Content to Action, scheduled June 24-27 in Austin. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing launched the initiative to provide new opportunities for nursing faculty to leverage the latest technology to enhance learning in the classroom, laboratory, online, and clinical settings.
