  • Mark Weber (physical therapy) presented a poster at the 2018 American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting Feb. 21-21 in New Orleans. The presentation, “Frequency and Types of Mobile Devices Used by Students in Physical Therapy Education,” was co-authored by Weber,and physical therapy practitioners Melanie Lauderdale and Ryan McGlawn.
  • Faculty, staff and students recently attended the Black Heritage Healthcare Panel as part of TWU’s celebration of Black History Month. The panel featured Nikki Hawkins, director of orthopedic and sports residency program at Memorial Hermann; Belinda Williams, director of therapy for Thrive Skilled Pediatric Services; and Verdell Marsh, Ph.D., former chief nurse of the 94th Support Hospital and colonel in the Army Reserve.
