More than 100 children and their families came out to the Sensory Friendly Family Day at the Dallas Zoo on Sunday, April 15. Occupational therapy faculty and students arranged the event with staff at the zoo and set up sensory friendly games like a "bunny hop," "penguin walk" and a "feed the animals" bean bag throw to engage the children and help them learn more about animals they might see as they walk around the zoo.
