Clubhouse officials mull program expansion

The Clubhouse is an aftercare recreational program for children (ages 5-12) of TWU students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Officials are exploring the expansion of the aftercare program to an all-day program, with a possible start date in November.

As part of the expansion, the Clubhouse will be open to children between the ages of 3 and 12 with the option of a morning program, after care or all-day program. Participating children will be provided:

  • Diverse activities and experiences
  • Games
  • Arts and crafts
  • Both cognitive and social learning

The Clubhouse is licensed by the State of Texas and upholds the regulations of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, as well as serving as a provider for the Child Care Services (CCS).
