While noting that the information seemed unimportant in the wake of the tragic school shooting in Uvalde, Chancellor Carine Feyten shared updates from the May 19-20 Texas Woman’s Board of Regents meeting in a message to the TWU Community.
Updates included:
- Approval of tenure and promotions for 18 faculty members
- Approval of a hybrid BA in English and an online BS in Early Childhood Education
- A report that the Texas Woman’s University Foundation reached $105 million in net assets, its highest level ever
- Approval of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to replace the university’s 20-year-old Oracle eBusiness Suite
- Recognitions of student Regent Brookelyn Bush, outgoing Student Government Association President Theodora Sam-Brew, The Lasso staff members, and student-athletes
