Chancellor shares Board of Regents highlights

While noting that the information seemed unimportant in the wake of the tragic school shooting in Uvalde, Chancellor Carine Feyten shared updates from the May 19-20 Texas Woman’s Board of Regents meeting in a message to the TWU Community.

Updates included:

  • Approval of tenure and promotions for 18 faculty members
  • Approval of a hybrid BA in English and an online BS in Early Childhood Education
  • A report that the Texas Woman’s University Foundation reached $105 million in net assets, its highest level ever
  • Approval of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to replace the university’s 20-year-old Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • Recognitions of student Regent Brookelyn Bush, outgoing Student Government Association President Theodora Sam-Brew, The Lasso staff members, and student-athletes
