The Center for Women Entrepreneurs at Texas Woman’s University has begun accepting applications for its Texas Rural Woman Grant. This is the third year for the grant program, which supports women-owned businesses in rural Texas communities.
Ten grants of $10,000 each — totaling $100,000 — will be awarded to selected applicants whose businesses have been established for at least three years.
A completed online application must be submitted by 5 p.m. on June 20, 2025. Rural eligibility is determined based on the U.S. Census and the Office of Management & Budget data, specifically for counties with populations of 50,000 or fewer. Applicants should refer to the list of qualifying Texas counties to confirm rural eligibility.
