The CARE Office is hosting a diaper drive during National Diaper Awareness Week, Sept. 26-30.
Diapers are essential to a baby’s healthy development. Keeping infants and toddlers clean, dry, and healthy is key to building a solid foundation for all children to reach their potential, but one in three families struggle to provide clean diapers for their baby. Nationally, 57% of parents experiencing diaper need who rely on childcare said they missed an average of four days of school or work because they didn’t have diapers.* (Most childcare facilities require parents to provide diapers and wipes for their child.)
Join CARE in helping TWU student parents meet the need for diapers. Through Friday, Sept. 30, bring diapers sizes 1-4 and wipes to:
- CARE Office, suite 209, Brackenridge Hall
- Woodcock Hall room 115
- Student Union at Hubbard Hall information desk
