Book-in-Common Committee provides free access to 'Just Mercy' movie

The Book-in-Common Committee has provided the TWU Community with access to the major motion picture “Just Mercy” via the TWU Libraries.

“Just Mercy” is the true story of Bryan Stevenson who, as a young lawyer, founded the Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending those most desperate and in need. One of his first cases was that of Walter McMillian, who was sentenced to die for the murder of an 18-year-old girl despite evidence proving his innocence.

“Just Mercy” was chosen as TWU’s 2020-2021 Book-in-Common. To watch the movie, click on this link and log in with your TWU credentials.
