TWU Athletics will recognize former softball player Bailey Vrazel Hammack (2014) on Friday, Feb. 10 at the Lone Star Conference Hall of Honor Celebration. Vrazel Hammack was inducted into the Lone Star Conference’s Hall of Honor this past fall.
The day will start with a 3 p.m. softball doubleheader vs. Western Oregon with on-field recognition of Vrazel Hammack between games followed by a 7 p.m. induction celebration and dinner at the Student Union at Hubbard Hall.

The former student-athlete led the softball team through its most successful four-season stretch of the Pioneers’ Division II era, earning four All-America selections, a South Central Region Player of the Year award and countless other accolades. A standout in the classroom as well, Vrazel Hammack was named the 2014 CoSIDA Academic All-America of the Year and earned three Academic All-America nods in her career.
She holds conference records in single-season hits and stolen bases and career hits and stolen bases.
