As a condition for belonging to the core curriculum, all core classes are required by the state to participate in core assessment. Faculty and staff who might be teaching core curriculum courses during the fall 2023 semester are invited to take part in the process.

Two opportunities for hands-on, collaborative guidance are available:

A Core Assessment Workshop for New Faculty (geared toward new faculty and faculty who want a refresher) is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5. Register for the workshop.

An Assessment Summit (geared toward instructors, program coordinators, department chairs, or any stakeholders wanting to engage in the assessment conversation and get support) is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21. Register for the summit.
