The TWU Ally Program is an interactive workshop held each semester as part of a nationwide effort to provide support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual/agender (LGBTQIA) students, faculty, and staff. The purpose of this program is to increase knowledge, personal and community awareness, and the number of physical and emotionally safer spaces for LGBTQIA individuals on the TWU campus. The organization hopes to do so by educating students, staff, and faculty and providing opportunities to practice strategies for affirmation.
