Adams wins J. Wilkes Berry scholarship

Amanda Adams, fieldwork secretary for the School of Occupational Therapy, has been named the recipient of the Fall 2020 J. Wilkes Berry, Ph.D., Memorial Endowment Fund Scholarship. The scholarship is provided by ASSET (Association of Support Services Employees of Texas Woman's University).

Adams will graduate in 2021 with a bachelor of arts in English, with a concentration in literature and a minor in marketing. She hopes to pursue a master of arts in publishing after graduation.

Adams currently is an officer in three honor societies on campus and is an active member of TWU's Honors Scholar Program.

The J. Wilkes Berry scholarship is awarded in the fall for the spring semester to a permanent full- or part-time TWU staff member enrolled in undergraduate or graduate courses. Applicants do not have to be members of ASSET to be eligible for the scholarship.
