Applications are now open for the 2024-25 Staff Professional Development Grant, generously funded by the Vice President for Finance and Administration.

The purpose of the Staff Council Professional Development Grant program is to award recognition and financial support to individual staff members to engage in professional development activities that align with the Texas Woman’s Strategic Plan, contribute to the success of TWU, and enhance the professional growth of the staff member.

Those interested can submit the Professional Development Grant Application to the Professional Staff Committee, and allow at least four weeks to process the application.

The awarded grant may cover Professional Development Activities (PDA) through Aug. 31, 2025. However, all payments or funds must be utilized by Aug. 1, 2025, to ensure they are allocated within the current fiscal year ending on Aug. 31, 2025.
