Littenberg establishes scholarship for TWU students

Linda Winter Littenberg ’78 has established a scholarship to assist Texas Woman’s University students who have already completed 60 hours of coursework and are studying child development. Her interest in supporting aspiring educators stems from a successful career in education and a passion for nurturing children’s innate curiosity.

Littenburg’s journey began at TWU, where she earned a degree in vocational home economics education. Her family instilled a passion for education in her from a young age, one that became the basis for her education career in high schools in Texas and New Jersey. She went on to serve in leadership roles at A Child’s Place School in New Jersey.

The Linda Littenburg Scholarship Endowment reflects Littenburg’s desire to support the next generation of TWU-trained educators who will foster children’s academic potential and social and emotional skills in the classroom.
