Texas Woman's alumna Merrilee Kick will speak at this month's TESSTalk.

Join Alumni Engagement for the next TESSTalk

The TESSTalk Series has seen positive feedback so far, and we are excited for the event to continue.

The next TESSTalk will feature alumna Merrilee Kick ('09), founder and CEO of BuzzBallz/Southern Champion. In 2019, she was named as one of the honorees for the Dallas Business Journal's Most Admired CEO Awards. Living up to the title, Kick pivoted her distillery when the pandemic began to take effect in Texas in order to produce and distribute 18,000 gallons of hand sanitzer to more than 90 institutions in the North Texas medical community, area fire and police departments, post grocery stores and airline employees.

Join us 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, July 16, for a fireside chat with this amazing female entrepreneur. Register now!

TESSTalk is a monthly speaker series featuring TWU alumni and faculty who share their perspective on leadership, professional journeys and personal adventures. Each session will feature a brief Q&A. This program is named in honor of the former nickname of TWU students —Tessie.
