Family, friends and colleagues are invited to attend a series of events held in remembrance of Phyllis J. Bridges, PhD, a Cornaro Professor of English, administrator and university historian who served Texas Woman’s University for 50 years.

Events will be held Friday, Oct. 28, on the Denton campus. A bench will be dedicated in her honor in a ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Pioneer Woman statue at Pioneer Circle. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 a.m. in the Union Auditorium in the Student Union at Hubbard Hall. Light refreshments will follow.
