The Oakland Café, a new dining option, opened June 10 on the west side of the Denton campus.
“The opening was what we expected. The second day has been even more exciting and has been nearly double the number of customers as the first day. We are seeing a positive reaction from customers that have visited so far, and the response from faculty and staff has been positive as well,” Diane R. Jackson, senior director of Dining Services, said Tuesday.
The Oakland Café, located on the ground floor of the Oakland Complex, offers breakfast food (waffles, oatmeal, eggs and more) as well as a variety of coffees and specialty shakes.
Is it “Peanut Butter Jelly Time”? Get it in a waffle (or oats)! (Gluten-free waffles are available on request.)
