EAP offers employee resources

Did you know that all benefits-eligible faculty and staff have access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Alliance Work Partners?

The EAP is a resource not only for counseling, but also for professional development, wellness coaching, health risk assessments and more. And it’s available to you and your family members at no cost. Licensed clinicians are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help with any type of situation. All guidance and counseling is confidential for you and your family.

Assessment visits, crisis intervention counseling and short-term counseling are provided free of charge. Fees for any additional help, which may be recommended, usually are based on what you can afford and in some cases, may be covered by insurance or other benefits.

If you’ve never used the EAP, follow these steps for the first-time login:

  • Go to www.awpnow.com
  • Select “Access Your Benefits”
  • Complete the required registration fields
  • Enter the registration code: AWP-TWU-1412
  • Make note of the email address and password you created for the next time you log in

You also can call 1-800-343-3822 at any time and ask to speak with an AWP professional or set up an appointment with an EAP counselor.
