Become a staff mentor

If you’ve worked at TWU for a number of years, you may or may not remember what it was like when you were a new employee — finding your way around, learning who to call for what, attending New Employee Orientation, etc. Sound familiar?

You can share the benefit of your expertise with new staff members through the Staff Mentoring Program. Offer coaching, guidance and encouragement to new staff members, and gain a fresh perspective and develop new relationships. It’s a win-win!

When you volunteer to become a mentor, you’ll receive information about a new employee and that employee’s orientation date. You and the new employee will meet at New Employee Orientation, then enjoy a Human Resources-sponsored lunch on your respective campus, where you’ll have the opportunity to welcome the new employee and make them feel at home.
